It seems you are referring to firmware v12.0.11.8 which includes a new feature/enhancement for the M4300-8X8F platform wherein the user can turn off the FAN to keep the device quiet. I believe you wanted to have the same feature/enhancement to be implemented on other M4300 series switch models which is why I moved your concern here in the Idea Exchange for Business board. In this way, the development team can see what feature does users wanted to be added to the functionality of the M4300 series switch models.
