Digging a little bit more into the PD standard implementations. Single signature PDs does make up class 0...8, a setting total of single-signature classes to nine everything is based on resistor based signatures. More complex schemes are using dual signature classes on multiple pairsets.
Can't see that any LDAP-MED or the like is mandatory.
