It would be useful to enable NTP server functionality on M4000 series switches to enable all devices on our LANs to be able to obtain a single time source from the switch.
The LANs we install do not routinely contain routers or PCs to offer time NTP services and so the switch represents a logical central point for client devices to pull NTP services from.
