Port Description

I've just added a GS108Ev3 to my network, to add to an existing GS116Ev2.  I am very disappointed to see that the 108 does not support a port description field which is present in the 116.  Can this not be added?

    YeZ another classic implementation discrepancy between very similar switch models - more work for the PLMs.

    I have this exact same scenario.  How can they NOT be the same?  Are they going out of thier way to have a different code base?

    Different specs, I guess the GS108E is simply older and it originally never had the description fields, and it was never added.

    Same to me. This week I've just added a GS105Ev3 to my network, to add to an existing GS116Ev2.105 hasn't any port description either. GS116 it is present.
