Carrier Activation Statement – NETGEAR Nighthawk 5G M7 (U.S.)

We understand how important carrier compatibility is and appreciate the opportunity to clarify the certification status for the Nighthawk 5G M7 on U.S. networks.

AT&T 
The NETGEAR Nighthawk 5G M7 is fully certified on AT&T. 
AT&T is currently working through a system-related issue that will cause the M7 IMEI to appear as incompatible when customers attempt to activate service through the AT&T BYOD online portal. This is not a device compatibility issue. 

 

Please contact AT&T customer support or visit your nearest AT&T store to acquire an M7-compatible data plan.

T-Mobile 
The NETGEAR Nighthawk 5G M7 is certified on T-Mobile. 
Customers can activate new service for physical SIM cards directly through T-Mobile’s BYOD portal or T-Mobile Stores.  eSIM support is expected March 2026. 

 

Verizon 
Verizon certification of the NETGEAR Nighthawk 5G M7 is in progress and expected to be completed March 2026. Prior to certification, customers will be unable to activate new Verizon service on the M7. 

 

We understand this may be frustrating and appreciate your patience while final approvals are completed. Once Verizon certification is complete, customers will be able to activate service normally.
