Arlo Go camera mounted 10 ft up in 18" diameter oak tree.  Strong winds today gusting to 40mph, noticed multiple Motion alarms with no activity present in recorded video.  Is it possible the swaying of the tree could trigger Motion sensor?

More likely it's the branches/leaves causing the reflected IR from the sun to be detected as motion. Are you seeing that sort of motion (leaves or their shadows on the ground) or can you actually see the camera moving in the video?

It is winter here in MN and there is no longer any foilage on the trees.  There are no branches in between the camera and its 130degree field of view.   It has been cloudy all day, thus no shadows.

The branches don't have to be in the filed of view. The sun is a strong IR emitter and movement of out of view objects can reflect and/or cause apparent motion wving in the breeze. That's not to say I know for sure that's what happened but it's a possibility.

I use a specific mode for windy days.
