How do I change video resolution on my Arlo Q, Arlo Q Plus, or Arlo Baby to reduce bandwidth use?

This article applies to:

Higher video resolutions use more bandwidth on your Wi-Fi network. You can reduce bandwidth use by setting the Arlo Q, Arlo Q Plus, or Arlo Baby camera video resolution to a lower setting.

 

To change the video resolution on Arlo Q, Arlo Q Plus, or Arlo Baby:

For the Arlo Secure App experience with Feed:

  1. Launch the Arlo Secure App.
  2. Tap Devices.
  3. Select your camera.
  4. Tap .
  5. Tap Video Settings.
  6. Tap Video Resolution.
  7. Select a lower video resolution setting.

For the Arlo Secure App experience with Library:

  1. Launch the Arlo Secure App.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap My Devices.
  4. Select your camera.
  5. Tap Video Settings.
  6. Tap Video Resolution.
  7. Select a lower video resolution setting.
