Same as with the Pro.

Something is different with the night vision as it is noticeably worse than the pro 1's so I cannot see how they would be the same and produce worse quality. Very hard to believe.

I also have poor night vision with the Arlo Pro 2 compare to the Arlo Pro 1. The LEDs look the same but I'm not sure if they are

The LEDs may or may not be the same, but the imaging sensor on the PRO 2 must be different because it's 1080p. Perhaps the Pro 2 imaging sensor is less sensitive to low light levels.

Something isn't right because the night vision, it's so dark compared to the pro one

A solution is to purchase the new Arlo outdoor light.

It's not available right now as far as I know

I was just joking. NG dumbs down the night vision capabilities and therefore forces you to buy another of their products.
