I have the "Arlo 3000" base station, with 4 cameras operating. I note the new "Arlo Pro" system with the re-chargable batteries and voice communication. I am wondering if I buy the new base station with 1 camera package - if I can sync my old "Arlo" cameras with the new base?

No problem. Just remember that there's a 5 camera limit for the free plan.
