  1. The net gear nighthawk 4g modem has an Ethernet port.... sometimes these ports may not have all wires connected. Does anyone know if it does have the power wire so it could power an Arlo Q Plus?

Are you referring to the Nighthawk M1?

Yes, the Nighthawk M1

Without full specs it's hard to say.  The hotspot would need the Ethernet port to support PoE - if the specs don't mention it then it likely doesn't.  However, you could use a switch the support PoE and connect that to the M1.  The Q+ would then connect to the switch and draw power from it.

Gedhols,

The Nighthawk M1 does not support power over ethernet. As jguerdat mentions above, a PoE switch would be needed.
