I use this AC Power adapter (see attached photo of the item) instead of the CR123A batteries that are expensive to replace every 2-3 months. So far, it works well with my Arlo wire-free cameras..

nice ...just like mentioned a year ago to use ribbon cable to feed terminals....

 

But, as always, if not approved by Netgear, your warranty is DOA

Thanks for the concern.

 

i’ve had my Arlo for over a year now. I live in the Philippines, and it’s only recently that i bought the AC adapters during my recent trip to the US. I don’t think i am still covered by the warranty.  Nevertheless, i did not alter any of the parts of the cameras so i don’t see how that will affect my purchase.

 

one thing good though about the AC adapter, i can extend the recording time since i don’t have to worry about battery consumption.
