I recently setup my 2nd base station, VMS3230-100NAS.  Then I moved 2 out of 5 of my Arlo cams onto it, to sync with it.

The problem is on my Android, the app shows these 2 cams having problems:  cannot connect & batteries to replace.

However, on the PC, the 2 cams show that they work great without any problems.

So what is going on?

I tried rebooting my base multiple times.  Worked shortly then problem reoccurred.

I tried to uninstall my Android app, then reinstall it.  Same problem.

Any ideas???

It seems to have worked.

Solution:

Before you move a cam from one base to another, remove it logically with the button "Remove".

Then physically move the cam to the other base to sync it.

When you moved them, did you also remove them from the first base?

no, did not.  Should I?  I will check.  They should just not exist there anymore if I don't sync them.  Will double-check.

Did not think of that one.  🙂

Like I said, I see 3 cams on the 1rst base, then 2 cams on the 2nd base.  Did not need to remove any.

But thinking about this, I can put the 2 cams back onto the 1rst base & remove them logically before moving them to the new (2nd) base.  Will try this.
