Just trying to install a new Arlo system with two cameras.

Base station is showing flat green lights for Power and Internet. The base station is connected to my account. It has had a firmware upgrade to 1.8.8.0_11528. I can see the basestation in my account.

I've tried to connect the two supplied cameras many times. They flash blue, then rapidily orange after about 20 seconds. Neither camera will connect.

I have powered down the cameras by removing the batteries many times.

I have moved the base station.

I have reset the base station power and done a full reset (10seconds with pen).

Do I need to return this package?

The fact is you need the first left two LEDs green first... that is Power and internet .

Here's what I would try

Open the battery doors to reset the cameras

Unplug the router and base. plug them back in ( in the same order ) , give each time to come back

Once you get the two left leds green again

QUICKLY push the sync button on the base ( don't hold ), then 1-2 secs later push the camera sync button

It should work, btw, the most common issue with sync'ing arlo is holding the base button to long.

Since you already see the base in your account but have used the reset button, you also need to remove the base in Settings, My Devices. Then use the Add Device button in the Devices tab to add the base and sync the cameras as stated above.
