I am considering buying Arlo video system. The manual states that the base station must be connected
with cable directly to a router. Can it connect to the Netgear WiFi Range Extender model WN2500RP in stead,
which is connected wirelessly with my router?

The base units need an etherent port to access the internet...it can be on you router or some have used extenders with ports... either way,

As long as it has an etherent port and thruput over 1Mbs
