So i just got my self 3 regular Arlo wire-free cameras, installed them everything seemed great but then the sun went away and im not that happy with the night vision picture...

Specially the 3rd pic it looks really dark, i tried turning it off/on, tried increasing the brighness and still kinda bad (in my opinion)

Just in case HW Version H11 and Firmware1.2.10342

Battery-operated cameras aren't going to throw a lot of light.  They're best at 10 feet or less.  You can add your own suplemental outdoor lighting (maybe motion-controlled and/or IR floodlights) to help.  Those pics are quite normal for these cameras.  Using the cameras to view large areas may be an issue overall, not only for night vision but also for false detections of cars passing by rather than focusing on people near the house.

Night vision switch seems to do nothing.
Same thing with me.  Turned night vision on and off 30 times and once for just a few seconds the image looked like daylight.  But when I went back off the video adjustment window to live view it was pitch black again.  I never got that daylight look again, to this minute.  The camera is capable of seeing this everything look like daylight..... I saw it.  It's like the night vision switch does nothing.

I missed you links as they've now expired but for me, the Arlos were meh in the dark but the Arlo Pro cameras are great. I highly recommended you consider grabbing an Arlo Pro add on camera for your area where it's really dark
