I have a problem using the Arlo App for Android.
I am using the same phone, router and network. I did not change anything, however this problem started about a week ago. I have two different Android devices and one Apple. My two Android devices have the same problem since a week.
When my phone is connected with a cell phone network (3G or 4G) I can login my Arlo App on both Android devices without a problem.
When my phone is connected with a wifi-network I also do not have problems with logging in my Arlo App.
However when my phone is connected with my own Wifi netwok, the same network as used by the Arlo base station (via a LAN cable), I cannot log-in the App. The app freezes showing “Getting status” or the app shows “connection time out”.

The Apple app works normal (wifi connection), as the Android app used to work.

For info: all other apps on my two Android devices work properly

What can I do?

Android App: 2.4.2_17124
Arlo Base: 1.8.8.0_11528
Hardware: VMB3010r2

Very strange. What ping, upload and download do you have on your home wifi?

Ping 24

Down 154

Up 16

So no problems regarding my internet connection.

FYI all other app's are ok on wifi and 2,3,4G

Yeah, easily fast enough. That's so strange that it only happens on your home wifi
