Equipment for the conference room
Hello,
I have to buy new eyuipment for conference room. There is one large hall and two small adjoining rooms. The Internet is from the mobile network 4g. We need to provide WiFi for up to 100 users. In addition, we must connect 2 devices to the network using a wire. These devices connected via a wire should have priority in accessing the Internet. I have no experience with business-class equipment, so i hope you could help me. I think about such a set:
- WAC510 Insight Managed Smart Cloud Wireless Access Point installed under the ceiling in the main room ((or WAC540, but I do not know if there is such a need in my assumptions)
- Modem 4G LTE LB1110
- Switch FS105v3
I thought about the LB1110 modem and using PoE for the modem and Access Point, but I would have to buy a switch with PoE support, which is much more expensive and I do not know if it makes sense.
What do you think about such a set. Is that enough? Can I need something else? I will be grateful for your help.

Re: Equipment for the conference room
Deploy a Gigabit PoE switch in any case. Look for a small Insight managed PoE switch like a GC108P, easily less expensive than having to buy the power supplies for each WC505 (why WAC510 which does just add a non-standard 2.4 GHz QAM?) or WAC540. And this does give you nice management capabilities.
Further on, I would suggest adding a "real" router, at least something like a BR500.
Wi-Fi for up to 100 users from a single 4G connection .... ? Here I would be a little bit concerned. You need "perfect" 4G connection at least (and almost outdoor installation) to provide some low- to average volume usage to that many modern wireless devices.

Re: Equipment for the conference room
I thought that choosing WAC510 I only need one device for my case. This model if there is only one it can work as a router. Am I wrong?
Internet 4G is the only option here, but it works quite well. Users do not download large amounts of data.

Re: Equipment for the conference room
OK, the WAC510 can be operated also in router mode.
The theoretical maximum amount of clients is 64 for the 2.4 GHz and 64 for the 5 GHz band.
So if going down to the bare minimum, why adding a crappy Fast Ethernet switch to a mobile data conection (probably) capable of more than 100 Mbit/s?
