R8000 ensemble mode with Wac730?

Is it possible to have 3 x WAC730 set up in ensemble configuration when directly connected to a R8000 router? Or would this require a switch?

If all three APs are reachable to each other (pingable) then it should work.

If you have not seen this video then I would recommend this.

Are all those 3 WAC730s in the same network? Then yes. Can you show us your network diagram so that we can confirm.

Yes, the 3 APs are in a single network and directly attached to the router as follows:
modem --> R8000 --> 3xWAC730 (each one attached to one of the Ethernet ports of the router).
Essentially the question is if R8000 can handle ensemble set up
