Router without a modem
I'm trying to connect a router to the internet provided by the business I rent an office from. I want to connect the router to the ethernet port in my office to prodcast my own wifi signal. Is that possible? I have not purchased a router yet because I'm unsure if this will even work or not.
Re: Router without a modem
Yes, definitively possible. Keep in mind that all your systems must be connected to your router, as it will create a private LAN. In case the router does propose to be set-up as wireless access point only - select router/NAT mode.
