Shot WAC720 on WC7600v1

Hi to all!
Maybe anybody can help me.
Today I have done a firmware upgrade on our WC7600v1 to the latest version (6.5.3.1).
Of course with the migration firmware step (5.5.1R.0) because my version before upgrade was (5.5.1.4).
All things fine! All APs up and run!

After the upgrade I have remember that there was a WAC720 which is not pluged to the network.
So let's go to the switch and plug in the WAC720. But now the AP is in the boot loop, of course, because the AP has missed the migration firmware.
Then comes the best idea of the month, I go back to the migration firmware (5.5.1R.0) on the controller.
After this downgrade the single WAC720 which I have forgot to connect works perfectly again, but all other nine WAC720 stopped working!
On all WAC720 is no ping possible, no http, I have done all forms of reset with the reset button (long, short, wide, narrow, ...) --> no effect.

All other AP types like WNDAP360, WNDAP350, WND930, WNAP320 works perfectly!

Now I have tried to connect trough the console port of the AP, and I got a connection, but I cannot find any valid combination of username and password (of course i have tried the standard and our ones).

Is there another combination for the console port of the WAC720?
Maybe the console port is only for internal use?
Otherwise I think the AP's are total shot...

Or is there another way to get the original firmware to the WAC720?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Re: Shot WAC720 on WC7600v1

Ok, I got the solution.

At first for all who are searching for the console credentials.

The username is 'root' and not admin. The password is 'password'.

After the login the first step is to set an ip address on the AP:

ifconfig eth0 192.168.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.0

Then load the newest standalone firmware from an tftp server (e.g. with tftp64 from a windows machine) with the following command:

firmware-upgrade-tftp WAC720_WAC730_V3.7.12.0.tar 192.168.0.99

A few minutes later when the firmware upgrade finished the ap should start properly and you are able to reconnect the ap to your wireless controller.

And for all who search for the pinout of the console port on the WAC720 (COM Baudrate 115200):

RJ45 Pin  -->   DB9 Pin

1 (RTS)   -->   8 (CTS)

2 (DTR)   -->   6 (DSR)

3 (TXD)   -->   2 (RXD)

4 (GND)   -->   5 (GND)

5 (GND)   -->   5 (GND)

6 (RXD)   -->   3 (TXD)

7 (DSR)   -->   4 (DTR)

8 (CTS)   -->   7 (RTS)

Best regards

Christoph
