Trying to power WAC740 access point with cisco 2960-x PoE+ switch

Trying to power WAC740 access point with Cisco 2960-x PoE+ switch, had a case opened with Cisco, and they saying that the issue is on Netgear side.    In Netgear controller  WC7500 I see that access point is connected but looks like it doesn't get enough power, error message is AF Power (Radio off). Cisco TAC support says that Access point doesn't negotiate required power level using lldp or CDP.

Re: Trying to power WAC740 access point with cisco 2960-x PoE+ switch

Hi @Dranik,

As far as I have checked, there is no compatibility issue logged between the WAC740 and the Cisco 2960-x PoE+ switch.  Let us isolate the problem.  Kindly answer the questions below:

a. LAN port 1 of the WAC740 is intended to be connected to a port of a switch or a router that can provide PoE+.  Just to verify, is the LAN port 1 of the WAC740 connected to a PoE+ port of the Cisco 2960-x PoE+ switch?

b. Have you tried to turn off then turn on the PoE+ function of the Cisco 2960-x PoE+ switch to isolate the problem?

c. Have you tried to connect the WAC740 to other PoE+ ports of the Cisco 2960-x PoE+ switch?

d. Have you tried changing the ethernet cable you are using for the WAC740?

Kindly enumerate the troubleshooting steps you have done with Cisco TAC support.
