WAC505, no https access
When I access my WAC505 or WAC510 access points via Chrome with https://192.168.1.250/AP_login, I get the following error message.
Your connection is not private

Re: WAC505, no https access
Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Business Wireless products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with business wireless products and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this router forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

Thank you.

NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALIDThat looks like one of those browser security things.
Tried a different browser?
Feel free to waste your time by dashing off down an uninhabited bolt hole for the WAC505. But your question really doesn't depend on the hardware. The https thing has has come up for many devices. Given the higher traffic here, this is probably as good a place as any to get help with that issue.

Re: WAC505, no https access
My previous reply is a format disaster. Netgear seems to have been playing with the community configuration in such a way that posts get mangled. Apologies for that. There is nothing that I can do about it.

Re: WAC505, no https access
There is _no_ way for having a trusted certificate while accessing on an IP address.
You would need much more to make this happen ....

Re: WAC505, no https access
Ignore @Stoddard21 and their linkspam.
Do not follow the link.
I have alerted the Netgear moderators. With luck they will remove that message.
