WAC540 when i setup static ip address it is not connecting to cloud or wifi is not available

Hi all, Thanks for reply in advance. My internet provider has a adva FSP 150CC switch which has ip address, gateway, and subnet. It has one ethernet port exposed. To this ethernet port i connect my netgear WAC540 router and connect with cable to the router and setup the ip address, gateway and subnet mask. Once setup i can't log into the router with the new ip address via browser. I also don't have the wifi available - the one i setup. Any ideas what is going on.
