My English is very poor, this is translated by google. Please understand!
WAC720 requires Back To Standalone and runs multiple times in Console
Firmware-upgrade-tftp firmware.tar 192.168.1.200
The firmware can be successfully uploaded, but it is not always possible to switch back to standalone mode.
Can anyone help me? Thank you!

Hi @djccy,
Welcome to the community! 🙂
Just to verify, was the WAC720 managed by a wireless controller before? Kindly try to factory reset the WAC720 after the TFTP firmware upgrade.
Let me share the forum thread below and hope it helps:

Re: WAC720 Back to standalone
Thank you!
1, yes, WAC720 was previously controller management. Now the controller is broken.
2, I have to press the reset button to restore it to factory settings, but this is not useful
3, successfully uploaded many times firmware, but can not always run new firmware
I have read the post you shared. But I don't understand the following:
(So I found a command on the console to simply TFTP the .tar file to the /tmp folder on the WAC730. Then once it was in place I ran another script called firmware-upgrade or something like that pointing it at the same .tar file )
He said after uploading the firmware to /TMP. What commands are entered to run the new firmware?
Thank you again!
