WAC720 reboot using batch or script in Plink
My very first post.
I've been looking to reboot several WAC720 AP's using a scheduled task. All I've been able to find was forum posts telling me it can't be done.
Well it works just fine in Putty.... but fails to work in Plink and batch files.
Lots-O-Research and if I had to guess the session started by Plink is closed before the reboot command executes, and that cancels the requested reboot. However I've been wrong before!!! What I can tell you is the command line below when placed inside a batch file reboots the device just fine.
Tidy, maybe not..... functional, oh yer!
@echo pwd;reboot;pwd;pwd;pwd |plink -T -v -no-antispoof email@example.com -pw YourPassword
YMMV - All the best
