wireless bridge adapter?

Hi there,

in our local network we use some WAC720 access points. Now we would like to connect some LAN-only devices to our network at places where we don't have any wires. Are there any Netgear devices which can do something like a "wireless-to-wired"-bridging with our WAC720s?

Or do you have other suggestions to solve this problem?

Thanks a lot for your support and many greets

Stephan

Re: wireless bridge adapter?

Hello Stephan,

  1. Install a cable
  2. Install a cable
  3. Install a cable
  4. Desperately want to make you unhappy? Configure one existing WAC720 near to the area as a point-to-point device (AFAIK co-existing with the AP mode)  Add another WAC720 in WiFi bride (point-to-point) mode. WAC720/730 User Manual p.130 ff.
  5. If this is not good enough, start with #1 again.

Hey schumaku,

thanks a lot for your fast reply!

Yes, I think you're right. We really should consider installing cables.

Many greets from Germany
