Aveno VoIP & Netgear AC1750 C6300v2

I have an OBi200 ATA adapter connected my Netgear AC1750 C6300v2 and I have Aveno and Google Voice VoIP service associated with the OBi200 ATA adapter. 99% of my calls are made and received via Anveo. Google Voice VoIP is functioning normally but Aveno VoIP service is not.

The issue I'm having is when making outbound (Aveno VoIP) calls, the voice on the receiving end is intermittent so that I can't hear a complete sentence without the call receivers voice dropping out for a second or more during each sentence. (There is no voice intermittency from the caller's voice when I receive a call.)

I've tried disabling SIP ALG in ADVANCED > Setup > WAN Setup as suggested in the User Manual regarding "Some VoIP applications" and that didn't resolve the issue.

Prior to my attaching the OBi200 ATA to my Netgear AC1750 C6300v2 I had it attached to an Xfinity loaned Cisco Model DPC3941T Gateway and there were no VoIP issues.

I did come across a Netgear Community support article titled: How do I configure the C6300 cable modem router for Vonage VoIP service? Would adding Aveno VoIP IP address to the "Default DMZ Server" resolve the issue?

I resolved the matter by performing a reset (seven seconds) of the modem. I purchased the modem used and so the previous owner must have had settings (or the modem just required a reset) that was causing the issue I was having with Anveo VoIP outgoing calls.

Something to try.

I'd contact the Aveno Mfr to ask for additional help and information regarding there product since that's the one item that doesn't seem to work well while others do.

Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
