C 7000V2 What VPN can I use?
I was going to purchase a VPN Service yesterday and they said my Modem/Router did not have "ddwrt" and thus their's
would not work on my M/R. PLEASE, if possible, can someone here tell me [recommend] what/where I need to do to install
VPN in this Modem/Router?
THANKS! michael

Re: C 7000V2 What VPN can I use?
no Cable modem Router will allow you to install DDWRT. DDWRT is for "routers only" and that too mostly old routers.
you should check with DDWRTs website on compatible products and only get those.
C7000v2 is not DDWRT capable.

Re: C 7000V2 What VPN can I use?
That is what I was told by a VPN yesterday BUT being uneducated about using a VPN etc. I am seeking a solution to what I need one for, I believe. I have "cut da Cord/Cable" and have started streaming services and OTA TV........I am thinking about going with a Streaming IPTV Service but from what I have read it sounds like I'd be wise to first install a VPN. I was told yesterday IF I could install on a Router that the VPN would protect everything! Wish I'd known about this prior to recently buying my Modem/Router.
Anyway, the one I was considering yesterday would install w/o hick ups to my Firestick 4K Stick, thus I can do that, BUT my new Samsung 4K TV has most of the Streaming APPS I use already built in so I mainly don't have to switch source to go to da Stick. So, not knowiing how, I am trying to find a way, a product, that I can use that ideally would protect ALL of my Streaming products. I was reviewing Express VPN earlier and you could install it to W'10 or Chrome....but neither of those installs would do it for me would they? PLEASE advise.....
