C3700 Drops Connection to Devices
I'm having an issue with my NetGear C3700.
I've been using it for about 6 months with no issues. This past month, I've noticed it randomly drops connections to all wifi decises it's connected to. The internet will no longer work on the devises and then after about a minute, the wifi signal levels on each device goes away. Phones go back to data service and laptops have no internet. I tried to use the 5G wifi but, that too also drops.
I've reset the box to factory but, still having the issue. Lights on the front of the box all stay solid. I'm using the latest Firmware and issue occures with Android and Apple.

Re: C3700 Drops Connection to Devices
I have been having the same issue. I just did all the settings in the link above but I have little faith in that. I bought a n600 router for the speed but it seems to me that reducing the speed to just get the wifi to work is BS considering I bought it for the speed in the first place. Either give us a firmware up date that fixes the issues.
I am the only user on the system. One cell phone connected along with a laptop. My xbox is hardwire connected to the router.
What is strange is if the 5ghz stops working I can switch to the 2.4ghz. Then when it stops I can then switch to the other. It is getting hung up on something. I don't know what but I live in an isolated area so I have no channel interference to worry about.

Re: C3700 Drops Connection to Devices
My continues to do the same. Customer support won't help unless you pay for it which costs more than the router itself. I will see if anyone can help me or if I can figure out a solution soon. Or next week I will go buy a new router, for sure not a netgear!!!
