C3700 - no wifi
Got hit by lightning I think, so my C3000 only shows a red power light - nothing else...
Don't know much about modems, but I just bought another used one on Marketplace, and the first couple hours wifi worked.
Now - nothing...
Hardwire in (LAN) works ok...
Top-most button is not lit. all others are on except the bottom one...
Tried cycling pwr... no change...
I go to my tablet or cellphone looking for Available Networks, and nothing shows...
I tried Adding a Network, and it won't accept the Password.....
May I assume wifi is not working??? and that there is no fix...?

Sounds bad. It should be white of the thing is working. Routers have ways of recovering their firmware but they won't work on the C3000 modem/router.

Is that another C3000 or something else? Or is it the C3700 in your subject? If so, it is another modem/router.
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:
Cable Modems & Routers
In the meantime you could visit the support pages:
Support | NETGEAR
Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware. Look at the label on the device for the model number.
Check for various troubleshooting tips.
You may have done this already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear stopped supplying printed manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.
Just another user with a set of boilerplate macros.
