C7000V2 Connectivity Issues
I have a c7000v2 router / modem that goes offline everyday and I have to unplug and plug the router back in. When this happens all devices loose internet connection and the lights on the router are all solid green. I have had a new line ran from xfinity but still having the same issues

Re: C7000V2 Connectivity Issues
Do you have a screen snip of the cable connections page and the event logs from the modem?

photos can take several days to be approved by moderators. You can click on "choose file" and attach them 1 at a time and we can view them that way. otherwise we don't get a notice when they do get approved so don't check back on the posting.

Re: C7000V2 Connectivity Issues
Your power levels are just slightly out of spec. Not bad though.
And your logs are based off when it was rebooted so its not showing anything.
Next time the internet drops before you reboot it, log in and get the same logs and cable connections page info.

Re: C7000V2 Connectivity Issues
are those logs after you rebooted it? Usually the time only resets after a reboot. and rebooting resets the logs.
we need to see the logs while its having the issue.

Re: C7000V2 Connectivity Issues
Well you're caught in a catch22. it could be the line. it could be the modem.
If its the line, the isp would nee to check it.
if its the modem, you'd need to replace it.
cheapest ways to check?
1. connect back an old modem and use it and see if it works.
2. rent a modem from the isp to see if everything thing works. If it doesn't, then they can't blame the euipment and would need to fix the line. I've rented one for a month before to prove it was a modem issue.
