I have contacted Canon and they say it is a router or ISP problem.

Re: C7000v2 will not communicate over WiFi to a Canon C7020 multifunction printer.
Be sure the FW on the printer is up to date.
Test the printers wifi out by disabling WPA security temporarily on the Modem. See if the printer will connect to the modems wifi with out any security. If it does, set WPA and TPIK then re-connect the printer again. See if it connects. Then try WPA2 and AES. if it fails here, then the printers wifi security may not support WPA2 and AES security mode setting. This would be a printer problem as WPA2 and AES is mostly more secure than WPA an TPIK mode.
