C7500 connection to Cisco Router
Hi all
Quick question, i've setup a mini home lab to play around with some Cisco gear and up until this point it hasn't been going to badly. Basically I can connect to the outside world from the Cisco router through the C7500, however cannot ping the Cisco router from devices connected to the C7500 through WiFi.
So the devices on the Cisco are 192.168.2.x/24 and on the C7500 192.168.0.x/24 - I realise they are different - which was the point of my exercise ;). So having configured the Cisco correctly (I beleive) I can't seem to get it to work the other way. Does anyuone have any ideas at all - incase I missed a setting in the C7500 config or something.
TIA 🙂

"through WiFi"? Does it work any better for a device with an
Ethernet connection to the C7500? (I'd expect not.)

What, exactly, was "the point of [your] exercise?
Possibly interesting (although the numbers are different):

Re: C7500 connection to Cisco Router
Yes it was through Wifi - need to find an adaptor to connect the laptop to the router directly, but i'm expecting the same result.
The exercise was to have two networks running - the .2.x address using cisco and the .0.x address using the c7500 - jut basically brushing up on my cisco skills as i've been out of the game for a few year now.
I'll take a look at the link, thanks 🙂
