Same thing as everyone else. Nothing works! The modem router powers on and that’s about it. Can’t do a rest, hard reset or connect via tftp mode because it won’t even go into that mode. When CAX80 is connected to my laptop, I run ipconfig and see that my laptop sees the Ethernet connection but CAX80 won’t response to pings (100% loss).
While many questions about routers are generic and could be answered anywhere, some things need specialist knowledge.
You might get more help, and find earlier questions and answers specific to your device, in the appropriate section for your hardware. That's probably here:

I will ask the Netgear moderator to move your message.

What are the front LEDs showing?
So you can't access 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.100.1 after you press the reset button for 10 seconds then release?

Re: CAX80 bricked power light on/ no response to ping
Trust me I have read a lot of the post on here about the CAX80 situation that I am experiencing and obviously NG does not care to share on how to fix this hardware issue. This is not a user issue, this is a device issue.

You'll need to contact the forum moderators listed in that link I posted and ask for additional help and information regarding this. This is beyond forum help.
