CM500V Which lights should be lit when configured correctly
Brand new last week. xFinity claims that the modem is correctly configured on their end.
Internet works fine. Question - should the two bottom phone LED's be lit up or do they only light up when there is a phone physically conneted.
In my case they never come on.
When I sign on to the modem the Voice Status says the following:
MTA Provision Status Disabled
MTA Telephony Line 1 Status Disabled
MTA Telephony Line 2 Status Disabled
MTA Line 1 Audio Status Enabled
MTA Line 2 Audio Status Enabled
No audio on phone. No dial tone.

Re: CM500V Which lights should be lit when configured correctly
your voice line is not provisioned by xfinity.(if you have purchased it).
you need to call them and ask for right boot file.
this is assuming you have purchased correct service from xfinity.
