CM500V disconnects internet briefly when the phone rings; can't answer incoming calls
A recent problem with my CM500V: service from XFinity. Incoming phone calls ring, display Caller ID, but when I answer, nothing happens. I can make outgoing calls just fine. Also, when the phone rings incoming, it briefly interrupts the internet.
The phone is currently plugged directly into the cable modem. Xfinity reset the modem a couple times and is sending out a tech - but I fear that something is wrong with the modem. Thoughts?

Hello, I was wondering if this was ever resolved. I am having the same issue with Comcast/Xfinity and my CM500V modem. Did having Comcast come out help?
