I would like to buy CM1100 to replace my xfinity router. I will connect CM1100 modem to GS116 switch via ethernet cable. All my devices including wifi router will connect to the switch GS116. Is this configuration ok and will work?
Thanks

Need a router of some sort in between the CM1100 and your switch.
The CM1100 is just a modem only. No router built in.
