I have a Nighthawk R7000. Firmware version V1.0.11.100_10.2.100, Smart Connect is off and 20/40 is off as advised by another community member. The router randomly drops the internet connection and sometimes reconnects or I have to reset the modem and the router. I use Windows 10 in a bluetooth/wireless environment.
The Cox service technician, when he came to check my connections, told me he frequently found that this particular model of NetGear router had this issue.
It used to happen only occasionally, but now it's happening regularly. The router is 18 months old.
What do you suggest?
