Factory Signon and Password don’t work
I have Modem Model C6250. I have used the reset button several times, but each time I try to log in with Admin, password is password, it doesn't work. Now I don't have any internet but my wifi provider has run a test and can see that the modem is on line. I'm going to have to trash the modem and go buy a new one. Please assist. Thank you.

Re: Factory Signon and Password don’t work
Try resetting the modem by pressing the reset button or 15 seconds with the coax cable disconnected from the modem.

"try to log in" how, exactly? Some web browser, on some type of
computer, connected in some way, to something, using some URL or other,
or what?
Did you spell "admin" wrong every time?
> [...] it doesn't work. [...]
"doesn't work" is not a useful problem description. It does not say
what you did. It does not say what happened when you did it. As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and
look for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look
for the LED descriptions and "Troubleshoot". Further reading might not
hurt, either.
