How to use a Netgear C3700 as a modem only
I would like to use a newer router but would like to have the old Netgear C3700 as my modem connected to the wall. The new router will be connected through ethernet cable with my old C3700 Thanks for your help. The manual wasn't much help.

_Which_ "The manual"?
Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual. Read. Look for "Cable Your
Modem Router to a Router or Gateway".
I'll admit that a search for "modem only" would work better in a
better-written manual.
