My Nighthawk AC1900 WiFi modem router online is blinking green: the modem router is synchronizing with the cable providers’ cable modem termination system. My internet stopped working and Mediacom says that my modem/router is offline. Please tell me what is wrong. Do I need a new modem/router?

Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute then back ON.
