Netgear Router as a switch with google fiber
I am sorry I guess I was asking the wrong question, what I wanted to know witch may be the same question is that my TP-Link 8 port gigabit switch has died and I want to use the netgear router as a replacement switch until I get a new one, the only problem is when i set this up using a wired connection, I see all on my network that is plugged into the netgear, but everything that is plugged into the fiber box down stair is not accissable, can you help? The strange thing is that when I was using the TP Link, I could see everything, so why is the fiber box or netgear blocking the 3 systems down stairs connected to the fiber box when the netgear router is connected? Sorry for being so long winded 🙂

Re: Netgear Router as a switch with google fiber
You need to disable the DHCP server on the Netgear router.
