Nighthawk C7000v2
Just recently acquired the C7000v2 in replacement of XFINITY Dual-Band Modem.
Everything is working just fine, except the XBOX. When I go online to play, it logs on just fine, etc. The problem is when I move the character its jittery and moves in a skipping motion. Very irritating! Currently the xbox is being connced wirelessly.
I would greatly appreciate your support on settings that may need to be optimized to stop this from happening!
Thank you

Re: Nighthawk C7000v2
Does the same thing happen if the xbox is wire connected?
Is the xbox connected to the 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz radio?
How far appart is the xbox from the modem? Ft?

Re: Nighthawk C7000v2
Q2: 2.4Ghz currently, tried the 5Ghz and it was the same issue.
Q3: Approximately 20 feet maybe at most.

Re: Nighthawk C7000v2
Does this happen with just one game or all games?
Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?
Try disabling the following and see:
IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only.
Let us know if wired ethernet does the same thing...

Does this happen with just one game or all games? - Have only tested (1) so far, yet the previous modem I used was flawless right up until I switched to this one.
Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz. - Will do!
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many? - Probably 4-6 on average
Try disabling the following and see:
IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only.
