battery light for C7100V

Had a 75 minute power outage last morning. The battery was fully charged. Almost a day and a half later the battery light is still blinking. I should take this long to recharge since it was only in standby 75 minutes. Any ideas? Thanks

      Screnshot is attached.  Phone line is hooked.  The battery light is flashing fast. Thanks.
