errors on a few channels. Cox says it's the modem not their service. Ugh :(
I actually have the CM2000 Cable modem.
Cox says my modem is the issue. Not their service. I'm getting really high error counts on a few channels.
Rebooting the modem does not fix the issue.
Suggestions?
Thanks in advance.

Please post a copy and paste of the modems connection status page.
Have the ISP check the signal and line quality UP to the modem. Be sure the ISP provisions the modem correctly.
Be sure there are no coax cable line splitters in the between the modem and ISP service box.
Be sure your using good quality RG6 coax cable up to the modem.
Be sure to power OFF the modem for 1 minute them back ON.

ISP says everything is fine (Cox - ugh)
No splitters
using the cables installed by Cox professional install. They are tight.
Modem power cycled for 5 minutes.
Error counts increasing every time I look.

You're caught in an issue. The isp has said it isn't their line, its the device. (cox is great at this)
It could be the device. its always a chance. And some errors aren't abnormal, its when there's to many or their impacting service.
What I've had to do before was to actually rent a modem for a month from an ISP to prove it was their line. so they couldn't blame the 3rd party device. but if you rent one and its works great, then it might be the modem.
The times i've seen this being an issue is with spectrum. They lock down their rented modems so you can't see signal levels/errors. so its been making it tough to prove to them when there are issues.
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80
1.4gig download/50mbps upload from Xfinity
