port conectivity
i was switching around the services i was using from one modem to another and so i unplugged ther ethernet in to change it over to the new modem system arranged similar to this:
co-ax > modem > switch > router
> room 1
> room 2
> room 3
but when i plugged the ethernet in back into the switch i lost connection with ports 2, 3, & 4.
i tried the good old unplug it and plug it back in. I tried turning it of waiting and turning it back on again. I even took an electronic duster can to it to see if it was just dusty . . . still to no avail. i have ethernet in at port 5 and port 1 is powered and suplying ethernet but 2, 3, & 4 are stil not powered and suplying ethernet.
Help??

Re: port conectivity
Your configuration should be:
co-ax > modem > router < switch >
