updating firmware from a web browser. HELP
HELP! I am trying to update my firmware using a web browser. I think that is the problem. My spectrum internet is coming through fine and they said the router/modem is the issue. I am trying to troubleshoot on my own.
The app isn't working because the wifi isn't working well at all.
I have an ethernet cord so I can access the web browser. I can successfully login to Netgear Genie (routerlogin.net).
It looks like the current firmware is: V1.03.04
I am following directions that I found here:
https://kb.netgear.com/23442/How-do-I-update-the-firmware-on-my-NETGEAR-router-with-a-web-browser
I can go to "advanced" tab and then I can't find anywhere to check for updates under "administration"
There is nothing that says "Firmware Update or Router Update."
My exact model number is C6300v2 - modem/router combo
Thank you!
