I would contact your ISP again and make sure they check the coding of the modem there has been a issues where there system assigned a code to customer owned modems that shuts the wifi off.

Just completed registering my device and had a WiFi problem. Downloaded the user guide only to discover that the rear panel doesn't match my router yet I'm confident in that I specified the correct Model. Because I'm beyond the complimentary support period, I was unable to communicate this deficiency to NetGear (unless I wanted to fork over $50 to cover my support request).. Just for documentation????
