Hello, as the subject says I am looking to change my NAT type on my C6220 router to open (type 2 or 1) for my ps4. I had type 2 using it wireless, however I recently got an ethernet cable to get better network speeds. Now it's all of a sudden type 3! I would really like that 220 mbps down and 30 up 🙂 any advice would be greatly appreciated! Also bear with me I am very non tech-savvy but can follow specific instructions well!

Power cycle the modem and PS console...
Try a factory reset of the modem and setup from scratch with the PS wired to the modem.

Re: C6220 Open NAT for Ps4 gameplay
Much to my surprise power cycling actually worked! Guess that's why you are a guru eh? Thank you so much for your help! I wonder how many other things I can fix by simply turning it off and on again... 🤔
