C6300 Modem/Router with Orbi RBK43S
Hello,
I currently have a C6300 Modem/Router combo installed and an Orbi RBK43S due to be deilvered tomorrow. Online research leads me to believe that I can use the new Orbi with my existing C6300, however I am somewhat confused by some of the responses that I see. Some threads say to simply turn off router mode on the C6300 and add the Orbi, while others say to put the C6300 in Bridge Mode and use the Orbi in AP Mode. If I turn off router mode on my C6300, then install the Orbi, should I be good to go? If I have problems, how do I turn router mode back on for the C6300?
Thank you

Re: C6300 Modem/Router with Orbi RBK43S
I'd put the c6300 in bridge mode (modem only).
This lets the orbi function as it should and its much more powerful than the c6300.
once the c6300 is in bridge mode, to access it go to 192.168.100.1

Re: C6300 Modem/Router with Orbi RBK43S
Thank you for the feedback. Am I understanding it correctly that Bridge Mode and turning off Router Mode are the same thing?
Thanks
